FAQs

How do I keep my clay from sticking to the cutters?

If your clay is sticking to your clay cutters, it could be for a number of reasons. Here are a few tricks to keep sticking to a minimum:

Use release agents such as flour, cornstarch, or baking soda. Simply dab the cutter in the powder and then press. You can even add the powder directly to the clay. Wash your clay pieces after baking to remove any excess powder.

Another method is to place plastic wrap on top of your clay before pressing down your cutter.

Too soft of clay can also be the culprit for sticking to cutters. If this is the case, you can put your clay in the freezer or refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

How do I clean my clay cutters?

Clean cutters using a microfiber cloth or hand wash using warm water. Dry immediately and store in a safe place.
